Goal of Presentation : Before you start preparing your Presentation, keep in mind 'Your Presentation Goal'. Until and unless you are not clear about your goal you will not be able to make your audience clear with the topic. Apparently speaker has no goal, but delivering a presentation without any goal goes in vain.

Target Your Group : Start with basic and initiate your topic with some obvious facts. Straightforward, jumping to your new thoughts and research can affect the interest of the audience and restrict their interest. Your content should be highly modular and should use some entertaining realities that can hold the mind of the audience.

Reduce The Time : You need to be well-organized with what you are presenting. Many a times speaker in order to prove himself smarter than anybody in the audience take a lot of time and explain the whole new developments in his field. Such presentations are generally not entertained by anyone. Thus before teaching some new science to your listeners, frame your time, and manage it in a way that you are able to present 15 slides ending up in 30 minutes.

Do Not Associate Stress : Just keep in mind that as a speaker you are helping your audience to learn. So do not take any real question as your insult. As if colloquium attendants have really learned some new science then they will surely come up with passionate and real questions.

So prepare your preparation and rehearse it well before delivering in the audience.
