How to Color your Map in PowerPoint

This post shows you how to color and customize one of our downloadable, editable PowerPoint maps to be used for your sales, marketing, or, education projects. To customize the color of your map according to your specific need, you need to follow the following steps:

1. Select a particular region on your map that you want to color with the mouse pointer, by clicking on the map. 

2. Right click the mouse for windows and on the Mac just click with the mouse. You will observe that something has been selected and you can now do your editing to it.

3. Select a color from the Fill Bucket in the Drawing Tool Bar floating palette, which is usually located along the bottom of the PowerPoint slides. Or, alternately choose a color from the Colors, Weights and Fills option in the Formatting Palette. This Palette is located in the “VIEW” pull down menu.

4. When you are done with your editing, deselect by clicking off the image. That’s it; you are ready to move on to other editing. Repeat the same process for all the regions you want to edit.
