Enlarging or Reducing the size of a Map in PowerPoint

It all depends on a specific requirement or a scenario. To enlarge or reduce the size of one of our downloadable and editable PowerPoint maps, you need to follow the following steps:
Before starting enlarging or reducing a cluster of states, you need to group them together into a single unit.
1. Press the Shift key on your keyboard, and, using the mouse pointer CLICK on the states or counties etc., you want to enlarge. Use the right button on the mouse or the regular click on the Mac mouse. Alternately, you can also select everything on the slide by choosing Select All in the EDIT pull down menu.Now, we have to scenarios:
2. If you are using PowerPoint 2003: Once the states etc. are selected, click on the DRAW popup menu in the DRAWING TOOL BAR. You will find this along the bottom of your screen and choose GROUP. Group is also located in the Formatting Palette, under Size, Rotation and Ordering
3. If you are using PowerPoint 2007: You can access Group feature by right-clicking on the selected objects. It will appear in the Popup box in front of you. You can also access Ungroup the same ways if you need.
4. Now 8 handles or blue dots around the edge on your selected group will appear. You need to place your pointer over one of the lower left or right corner handles.
5. Click, and hold down the mouse button and drag the handle in a diagonal 45 degree direction. Pulling out, the group of states or countries will enlarge the map and conversely, moving in towards the center it will reduce the size. Holding down the SHIFT key will keep things proportional for you. 
6. Text elements will need to be re-adjusted manually.
